About the Author

Dr. Roy B. Zuck is department chairman and professor of Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary where he has served on faculty since 1973. Dr. Zuck has written or edited more than seventy books on Christian education and biblical studies. He had edited Bibleotheca Sacra (Dallas Seminary's theological journal) since 1986.John F. Walvoord is Chancellor of Dallas Theological Seminary, and was on the school's faculty for 50 years, including its president from 1952-1986. He has written numerous books, most of which, like Rapture Question and The Millennial Kingdom, relate to Bible prophecy. He is also the coeditor of the best-selling Bible Knowledge Commentary.

I was truly in awe with the insight of this commentary. As a student of the Word ,the information that is produced makes learning more enjoyable. I would encourage other's to purchase this study book, the price is very affordable.

We were looking for a bible commentary that would give us some historical background along with deconstructing each passage to give us an idea of the general meaning. This commentary does just that and more! By far the best we have found based on what we were looking for (and we tried several).

It breaks down the context using the original Hebrew words and states the definition. It also gives multiple ways of what is being said.

Wish I had had this years ago. I enjoy having this as a companion to my daily bible reading.

Excellent commentary, gives references to scripture referred in commentary explanation, backs up commentary with scriptural texts. The references and explanations are from scripture, not personally based beliefs. Very pleased with this reference.
